Page for Educators
Hellene Hiner: As a music teacher involved in public and private education, I have always been concerned about the low outcome of music lessons, judging by the average students' development as well as teachers' financial benefits, even for teachers of the highest professionalism. Any improvement of this situation I see only in raising the efficiency of the teaching process by using new, even revolutionary, approaches and technologies.
The Soft Way to Mozart method and software accumulate my researches and inventions during the 25 years of my teaching experience. Created with the direct goal of improving the productivity of my own lessons, this program solves the main problems of modern music education:
  • More intensive and less stressful involvement of beginners and young children
  • Productive group lessons improve teaching efficiency, and allow a lower tuition cost
  • Ensuring of students' intensive home practice
Created as a set of tools for everyday teaching practice, the whole system or its particular elements may be easily adapted by any piano and music teachers to their own approaches and needs.
